Key Skills Driving School was founded to provide safe and professional driving instruction to new drivers in the entire Phoenix, AZ area. We serve hundreds of students each year and our fully licensed driving school is trusted by adults and teenagers alike to provide a patient, courteous, and safe driving experience.
Driving is a serious activity that demands responsibility, know-how, and attentiveness from drivers. Our certified trainers are highly qualified and each of us is skilled in helping even the most nervous of drivers get over their stress and discomfort. Most importantly, we take pride in the quality drivers educated by our school. We want to keep Phoenix, AZ streets safe as well as teen and adult drivers alike.

I am a veteran of 6 years in the US Navy. I started teaching Defensive Driving in 2000 and taught thousands of Commercial Drivers how to avoid accidents using Defensive Driving techniques for 8 years and I’ve taught over 1,000 driving classes to new drivers. I’ve been driving for over 40 years, driven about a million miles and I’ve never had an accident, either on my own or with a student. The Key Skills driving training is designed to take the student from being afraid to drive, to being confident, safe and able to pass the test by the end of the course. I have a near 100% success rate teaching students to drive. In the rare case where a student fails, I’ll retest them for free.
